Technology at its finest

So, I know how crazy far technology has come. I mean it's almost impossible to sit and think about times before everyone had a cell phone or had to get up to change the channel on the t.v. I honestly can't imagine not having a cell phone. It almost gives me anxiety thinking about it... What will I do to pass the time while waiting for the Dr? Or how will I text my Bestie to tell her about the ridiculous lady at Target? Really Danielle? Try and spend a day with out your phone, I dare you.

Couldn't do it! John and I often get wrapped up in Words With Friends or Tap Fish or even Facebook stalking. So much so that when it's time to go to bed and the lights are off, the room is still lit up because we are sitting there on our phones. I mean who wouldn't want to play scrabble with your brother in-law or mom at 11:30 at night? Or who wouldn't want to instantly add 30 pounds to your brother with the tap of a button...

and then try your dog...

Is this really what my life has come to? Time for a change. Time to put my phone down and pay more attention to the more important things in life like school... Oh, hey, there you are. Or a meaningful conversation with my better half... There's an idea! I've decided to make the effort to put down my phone more when I feel the impulse coming on to pick it up. I'm going to try and fight it as much as I can.

  1. Texting is our main form of communication, Boo! While I fully support your cell phone rehab, I hope this does not mean that I will be hearing from you less...
